Seafood Paella For Four

Seafood Paella For Four

Author: Tomas Yoko
Date: 2012-07-18
From Valencia, Spain's third largest romantic City, the dish known as paella has achieved world fame. The beauty of paella is it is meant to be shared, and the tradition of sharing food brings families and friends closer.

Brett Gallagher is the executive Chef at Maritimo's, a culinary adventure that recently opened in the Cabana Beach Hotel in Umhlanga Rocks (where Razzmatazz used to be). Brett has devised a seafood paella for four and is offering this special dish on Sunday's. The idea is inspired for the locals, a family of four or two couples would be very well satisfied sharing the Maritimo's Seafood Paella. To top it off the special includes a bottle of wine with the meal for four, alternatively you can enjoy the Sunday Roast for just R99 per person, starter, main and dessert.

The sea is so close to their veranda; the surf offers the perfect distraction with frothing white foam on deep blue water. Overlooking the beach, the sound of the surf, an a la carte menu and seafood paella. Maritimo's offers superb value for money weekday lunch specials and a wonderfully cosy indoor environment.

Dave at the bar draws from years of experience and if he has ever served you before, he probably still remembers your drink. Dave twists up some delicious cocktails, which will be going at half price during the Maritimo's Sundowner hour. From Monday to Friday 4pm to 6pm, the deck at Maritimo's transforms into the perfect place to meet for sundowners and snacks.

There is ample space in the underground parking of Cabana, just meters away from the rustic, romantic environment of Maritimo's. So for a romantic dinner for two or a casual meeting of friends for sundowners after work, Maritimo's in the Cabana Beach Hotel is the place.
