KAFSA meets International Qtv Stars

The founder and members of the Khwaja Ameenudeen Foundation of South Africa was recently invited by Durban's most prominent Urdu society known as the Buzme Adab Urdu Society (KZN) for a special programme, which showcased famous International Naath artists at the Al-Ansaar Radio Community Hall in Durban.

The Buzme Adab has been in existence for well over 55 years. The society promotes the learning the beautiful poetic language of Urdu. The honorary member of the society, Janab Ustaad Safee Siddiqi(Lotus FM) has been one of South Africa's most talented Urdu poets who had written the famous song "Allah Hoo... Allah Hoo" which had been sang throughout the world and made famous by the legendary king of Quawaali the late Nusrath Fathe Ali Khan.

The leadership of the KAFSA organisation wishes to express their appreciation to Buzme Adab Urdu Society and Radio Al-Ansaar for their kind invitation. "As a community leader and social activist I was proud to see me the many youth within these years so involved into the learning of South African and Indian diverse culture and our mother tongue languages such as Urdu, Hindi, Punjabi or Guajarati", the event spirituality uplifting, well done to the society for such a fantastic show. The KAFSA organisation urges the community especially the youth to support organisations like the Buzme Adab to who are out there to preserve our mother tongue languages for the future generation. We should be proud of our heritage, our cultures and religion and learn to respect each other and live in peace and harmony amongst our diverse society that we live in today.
