Why Get High Quality Sound

Why Get High Quality Sound

Possibly the best reason to get high quality sound is to appreciate music in its original form, without any tampering.

Mass consumer products and speakers designed for computers do not have a flat frequency response. Quite simply what this means is that they either accentuate certain frequency ranges, or lack volume in these areas, or in many cases both.

For people who pay for their music, whether it be in the form of CDs, digital downloads or even those of us who still buy vinyl (yes people still do that and it is awesome), the quality of the sound is usually great, peaking at about 20 000Hz and even higher in vinyl playback.

Many of the less expensive speakers struggle to output clearly in these ranges, and also struggle to create the ambience that the artists, who made the music, worked so hard to create with the track.

As a music enthusiast, it really is a privilege to be able to hear the music of the artists I admire so much, in the same quality they did when they were making it. The magic that high quality sound brings catches people off guard, those who have not heard studio quality speakers before are blown away when they first hear how music sounds on these systems.

For those of you reading this that can afford high quality sound, and may be on the fence about getting it, make it happen. You won't regret it.
