INTRODUCING HONDA STYLISH 7-SEATER MOBILIO

INTRODUCING HONDA STYLISH 7-SEATER MOBILIO

Date: 2014-10-03
Following an extensive launch in Thailand, India and Indonesia, Mr. Yoshiyuki Matsumoto, Managing Officer, Honda Motor Company said "Honda has vast experience in offering a variety of premium MPV's to customers globally. Drawing from this varied experience; Honda engineers have used the same technological know-how and design philosophy to develop the Mobilio."

The Honda Mobilio will mark an evolution point in the MPV segment by offering a unique combination of sporty exterior design along with space and utility in just the right size to suit any customer's needs and different lifestyles.

The exterior design concept incorporates a sporty stance, which is expressed by the front grille and character lines on the side. With the sharp aerodynamic rear spoiler to express a sleek sporty feeling, the Mobilio distinctively stands out in the MPV segment.

The Honda Mobilio's Advanced Compatibility Engineering (ACE) body enhances self-protection while mitigating damage to other vehicles in the event of a collision. The high-performance body makes extensive use of high tensile steel in key areas of the frame to enhance safety and collision force absorption. It also increases durability of body and floor to resist the force of the tumble seats in the second and third row.

The Honda Mobilio comes standard with active and passive safety features including front driver and passenger SRS airbags, Anti- Lock Brake System (ABS), which prevents wheel lock during sudden braking and Electric Brake Distribution (EBD), which enhances braking performance.

The 1.5 i-VTEC petrol engine delivers a maximum power of 88Kw@ 6600rpm and maximum torque of 145Nm@ 4600rpm on both Trend and Comfort grades.

The Comfort grade comes with a standard service plan of 2 Years/30,000km and a Warranty of 3 Year / 100,000km. The Trend grade comes with a Warranty of 3 Year / 100,000km. Contact Honda Umhlanga on 031 580 7900 for more info.
