BotSoc hosts talk on Large Spotted Genets in Urban Areas
BotSoc KZN Coastal Branch hosts an illustrated talk by Craig Widdows on The ecology of large spotted genets in an urban environment on Sunday, 25 January 2015 at 3.00 p.m. at the Durban Botanic Gardens Visitors Centre, John Zikhali Rd (Sydenham Rd).
Mr Widdows has studied large spotted genets in his M.Sc at the University of KwaZuluNatal and currently also in his Doctoral degree to see how they are managing to survive in urban areas, and in this talk he discusses the results of his research. All welcome. Entrance including refreshments is R35 for members and R45 for non-members; students with cards pay R25. Pay at the door. Proceeds to branch projects.
