The Pageant empowers women with the knowledge to inspire and motivate other women. All contestants need to make a difference and the purpose of the pageant is to bring Wealth to the Community.
The Mrs Commonwealth SA pageant is in its 3rd year and the official charity is the breast cancer initiative Pink Drive.
"I entered the Mrs Commonwealth because I am a 'real woman', a wife, a working mom with dreams and aspirations of my own, I believe that this competition is the perfect platform for me to reach more people and acquire the support I need to further the needs of each community in South Africa." Said Lisa.
Through the Commonwealth Pageants, a platform is created for women of all ages to become charity ambassadors within South Africa and the broader international community. The title holders become involved in charitable causes and uphold the aims and objectives of the Commonwealth.
"I believe in myself and know that I am capable of taking on the role of inspiring other like-minded women and mothers that they can have a marriage, raise a family, build a career, take care of their community and still have a life - an exhilarating balanced life! All expressed with Elegance, Poise and Grace. Life is all about balance. Moderation of every aspect of life around ourselves." Concludes Lisa.
The Grand Finale will take place at the spectacular Lyric Theatre, Gold Reef City on Friday 26 August.
