Through My Eyes

Just when I thought that being stuck issomething I would have to live with for the rest of my life - I woke up andunstuck myself. Look it was not an overnight thing and I had to get physicallyill in order to do it. And in that vulnerable state I knew that in order tochange how I feel, I would have to change how I live.
Itsearly days... but my convictions are firmly reinforced and my resolution is solidas the steel chains that once held me captive. I visualise the future, how Iwill look, what I will achieve. My relationships. My faith. My commitment to bebetter and do better. The space I call home.
Theshift is massive. And in order to achieve these objectives I have to give upmost things that once seemed fun but today are the things that are slowlykilling every ounce of creativity and resourcefulness.
A massive seismic shift has rolled over my life and I am in a spacewhere I am no longer scared to let go of stuff that doesn't serves me. Thisjourney has been in the making for sometime and if truth were told, I haveexperienced resistance from all sides, however the main culprit in delaying mytransformation has been me.
It's one day at a time right now. Just for today. Today I can breakthrough this nonsense. I can shift my attention from the massive burden thatweighs me down, just by deciding to do things with intention, and it startsearly in the morning, before the sun. There is something magical about theearly morning self discipline practice. People who do it, show unbelievableresults and I am here to prove it.
It's true, we sometimes wake up fresh in the morning yet still gothrough the day half asleep. Our busy 21st century lives overwhelm us with arelentless stream of immediate tasks. We lose sight of how precious it is justto have a human life. This is an awareness that we need to feel in our hearts.
I would like to share with you a practice that I call 'living your wholelife in a single day.' You can do this by starting with this thought in themorning: 'I am starting a whole new life. It begins right now'.
When you wake up with this awareness, so does your mind. Ask yourselfwhat kind of person you want to be in the life that you will live today.Throughout the day, remind yourself that your life is happening right now. Inthe afternoon, check to see how your life is going and readjust as needed. Awhole lifetime of possibilities stretches out before you every moment. This isthe basic truth of interdependence.
Conditions are constantly shifting, and what seemed impossible earliercan suddenly become possible. Every moment counts. Every action counts. Asingle kind act can have a positive impact on the future of many others whomyou share the earth with. You can change the course of the future in anymoment. Do so consciously, and the whole world will benefit.
Onceagain I am reminded that the only constant is change and fearing change isfutile. If you are on your transformation path send me a message I would loveto connect with you and share my journey, my email is thebugle@mweb.co.za
