The Botanical Society of South Africa KZN Coastal Branch presents

Alpine beauties of the Drakensberg and Lesotho - a world famous wild flower destination within easy reach of Durban Botanist, botanical tour guide and author of various field guides on KZN flora Elsa's talk will include photos of spectacular scenery, some of the people of Lesotho and the special plants from this hotspot of botanical endemism on our doorstep. This high mountain region, the highest in Africa south of Mt. Kilimanjaro, is famous around the world for its wonderful flowers which have a fairly short season in mid-summer.
