While our leaders and top politicians are stealing the country dry, some of our citizens are following in their footsteps. Never mind illegal cigarettes and counterfeit good, Eskom is being fleeced by unscrupulous coal truckers and coal suppliers who are ripping off power plants by stealing the black gold, or coal, to the tune of billions of Rands every year. It s a free for all.

Things are so bad that some woman working for the blind and deaf society allegedly stole them dry, leaving the organisation in dire straights. Are we a nation of thieves What is going on

The refusal by Sowetan residents to pay their electricity arrears, is a clear indication of the mindset we are experiencing in South Africa these days. This one district has managed to keep the lights on despite not paying their bills. The mind boggles when trying to understand how it got to this point. Seventeen Billion Rand and they still have not shut off the power That doesn t happen with my account.

The DA announced their election manifesto saying everything that was expected of them, as the election heat builds up. Efforts to clean up our NPA are going ahead with revelations about the shenanigans and behind the scenes manipulations that have hamstrung our crime intelligence unit and our NPA. The level of corruption is staggering. So staggering that it is amazing how our nation has not fallen over as yet. Cleaning up this mess is going to take some time.

Meanwhile Donald and his regime are trying to overthrow the Venzweailin, Venezwellian, Venez-something or other government. So funny watching him trying to pronounce Venezuela. He should at least be able to say the name of the country that he is trying to overthrow. Sad to see that the American backed opposition resorted to attacking the aid truck that the Venezuelan government won t allow across their border because they say it is a propaganda ploy. Someone get Donald some elocution lessons.

One US senator went a little too far and exposed himself, and probably his regime, as a sicko when he posted pictures of Moamar Gaddafi being tortured and murdered, as a warning to Venezuelan President Maduro. That s Ven - ez - uela Donald baby.

The deadly bomb blast in Kashmir have ignited tensions between India and Pakistan, however cool heads are fortunately prevailing with neither side wanting to start a nuclear war. Isn t that great news. What a relief. How did we get here

In Japan the people of Okinawa have come out in numbers against an American military base being moved into their district. Nearly 75 per cent of the vote said no, but the government don t seem to want to consider this in their push s government insist that the presence of the American military force on the Island are paramount to the nations ability to protect itself and that they are a deterrent to Japan s adversaries.
