Baby joy for East Coast Radio's Carol Ofori

Baby joy for East Coast Radio's Carol Ofori

Date: 2015-06-12
"I was excited and cried for most of the birth. It was overwhelming and beautiful. God is amazing," says East Coast Radio presenter, Carol Ofori, who became a mum for the first time over the weekend.

Carol and hubby Greg welcomed little Sena Kwesi Rorisang Ofori on Sunday morning (7 June 2015). He weighed in at 3.85kg!

As she settled into her new role as mum, the vivacious radio and TV personality, who presents the weekend 10am to 2pm slot on East Coast Radio, says she just wants to be the best mother she can be, adding, "I hope to raise an absolute gentleman."

Carol says her mum and dad have been great role models and she wants to reflect that in the way she will raise Baby Sena. "I've had so many great things growing up and so many lessons too from my mom and dad. I want to give #BabyO the same life lessons and experiences."

And, if you're wondering about #BabyO's name, Carol explains they're all Ghanaian and each of them means something special.

Carol will be taking some time off to bond with her gorgeous bundle and will return to her weekend shows in August. Baby Sena is the latest edition to the East Coast Radio family. Zaba, who keeps listeners entertained from 9am to midday on weekdays, also became a mum for the first time this year.
