Attorneys with heart give to The Robin Hood Foundation

Attorneys with heart give to The Robin Hood Foundation

Date: 2019-08-30

Showing their support for The Robin Hood Foundation's Annual Celebration of Life initiative that is scheduled to take place on Thursday, 12th September at Ethembeni School for the Disabled., Araujo Attorneys, with branches in Umhlanga and Ballito, recently presented a cheque for R15000.00 towards the project.

"The aim of this annual project, now in its 7th year, is to inspire the 283 children that reside onsite at Ethembeni to celebrate their lives, their uniqueness, to let them play, feel the love from our volunteers and just be children, despite their daily challenges," explains Cindy Norcott - Founder and Chairlady of The Robin Hood Foundation.

Each year, The Robin Hood Foundation take a 'Carnival' to these children to celebrate their lives and a huge 'birthday party' for them to enjoy, rolled into a fun-filled afternoon of love and laughter. In addition, each year The Robin Hood Foundation requests a wishlist from the school for any items these children may need that aren't covered by social grants or budgets and try to help fulfill this wishlist.

"Sarah and her husband Marco, owners of Araujo Attorneys, have a passion for assisting children with disabilities and have been supporting this project for as long as we've been hosting it. We are extremely grateful for their continued support and kindness. Their generous donation will be put towards purchasing some of the items on Ethembeni's wishlist and will ensure the children enjoy this special day that they look forward to all year," says Cindy.

If you'd like to get involved or are able to donate items from Ethembeni's wish list, please contact Kim Griffith Jones on info@robinhoodfoundation.co.za
