Race Day At The Track

Race Day At The Track

Author: Tomas Yoko
Date: 2012-05-02
It all comes down to that day at the track. All the practice and preparation culminates in a mêlée of excitement, dust, fumes and flying motorcycles on the big day.

Pirelli recently proved that it is not just on the F1 circuit that tyre selection is important when in the Pirelli Scorpion MX marked its second double at the MX Grand Prix of Italy. It was the softened terrain at the Fermo track that gave the Pirelli Scorpion MX MidSoft 32 the proving ground it never really needed. Frenchman Christophe Pourcel took his Kawasaki to first position in MX1 on his Pirelli tyres.

On the tar track it is a similar situation, with tyres playing a big part in your performance. But nothing compares to race day and preparation is everything. East Coast Motorcycles are keenly equipped with a range of accessories that will see you to the checkered flag without the soul-destroying feeling that comes with equipment failure.

So before you commit to that start line call in at East Coast Motorcycles and check out the race winning Kawasaki KX450F with its launch control system that will put you out front and give you what it takes to stay out front.

On the tar there is the Ninja, and nobody messes with the Ninja. So either way, if you're into dirt racing or into the speedy tar circuits, Kawasaki and Pirelli are a fantastic combo.
