3Dimensional Vasculography

3Dimensional Vasculography

Date: 2013-02-21
A Non-Invasive Cardiac Evaluation for early detection and Management of Heart Disease :

This cutting edge technology of the Haemoseis 3Dimensional Vasculography (3DGV) device is a diagnostic machine that has brought answers and relief to many patients and doctors concerns internationally. The 3DVG machine was developed by Dr Rajah Vijay Kumar, the chairman and managing director of Organization de Scalene, a Bangalore-based research and development company, whose international team spent more than 20 years enhancing the technology. It was brought to South Africa by cardiovascular perfusionist, Dr Rakesh Mohanlall. The machine has international CE and ISO certification. There are already 150 such machines in over 20 countries across the world, but the machine's appearance in South Africa, early last year was a first for the African continent.

3D Vasculography is non-invasive and is the only scan available for early detection and management of the life threatening cardiovascular diseases. It provides a detailed analysis of cardiovascular haemodynamics, electrophysiology and pulmonary and renal function, by providing more than sixty vital cardiovascular parameters including systemic vascular resistance, cardiac coronary blood flow in each region of the heart and many more to identify and characterize global haemodynamic patterns which are consistent with Coronary Artery Disease and other circulatory disorders.

With a complete vital haemodynamic picture of the heart, lungs, and blood vessels, 3DVG provides new and powerful cardiovascular status information. 3D Vasculography scan is a risk free, accurate and cost effective assessment of cardiovascular functions that aids in clinical evaluation, general health screening and monitoring of treatment and procedures.

The 3DVG testing provides a 23 page full colour report with easily understandable graphical presentations. Using the technology, doctors will also be able to re-asses if the medication a patient is taking is appropriate of if it requires adjustment. It provides important information on your risk of having a heart attack or how well your heart copes under stress. It can also be used to evaluate the degree of success of procedures such as coronary angioplasty, coronary stents as well as coronary artery heart bypass surgery.
