Seven Seats, Zero Apologies

Seven Seats, Zero Apologies

There's a certain kind of vehicle buyer who walks into a showroom knowing exactly what they need. Not the flashiest option on the floor, not the one that turns heads at the traffic light. The practical one. The smart one. The one that makes the budget, the family, and the daily grind all add up correctly.

That buyer deserves the Ertiga.

Seven seats, a punchy 1.5-litre engine, and enough storage compartments to swallow a week's worth of shopping bags without complaint. It is, in the most honest automotive sense, exactly what it claims to be. In an era when every hatchback pretends to be an adventure vehicle, that kind of straight-talking is almost revolutionary.

The 1.5-litre motor produces 77 kW and 138 Newton metres, paired to either a five-speed manual or four-speed automatic, with a claimed consumption of 6.2 litres per 100 kilometres. On a long highway run, that figure alone justifies the purchase decision.

The GL derivative adds a 7-inch infotainment system, rear AC vents, a rearview camera, and Type-C USB ports in the second row, keeping passengers connected and, crucially, quiet. A five-year, 200,000-kilometre warranty and four-year service plan seal the deal with the kind of confidence that only comes from a manufacturer who actually believes in their product.

The Ertiga won't win drag races. It wasn't meant to. It will, however, fit the whole family, the cooler box, and whatever the mother-in-law insists on bringing.

Sensible never felt so good.

Visit CMH Suzuki Ballito, 35 Moffat Drive, Ballito, and ask about the Ertiga today. Call them on 031 001 9965.
