Ashton Girls Top In South Africa Cambridge Results

Ashton Girls Top In South Africa Cambridge Results

Date: 2014-06-13
Ashton International College were delighted to receive the news that two of the students out-performed thousands of candidates worldwide who sat examinations in Cambridge IGCSE International Examinations. Christine Brokensha was the top Accounting student in South Africa, whilst Anika Botha clinched the top spot in South Africa for Business Studies. "We are ecstatic with this news as these were the first group of students who sat the IGCSE Examinations at Ashton, and whilst we celebrated a 100% pass rate with outstanding results, this is the cherry on the top," said Mr Erasmus, Executive Head.
"It is encouraging to be in a position to acknowledge the high standards of education offered by schools across the country reflected through these exceptional results. These achievements are a credit to the partnerships which Cambridge has established with schools and demonstrate the dedication and commitment of teachers, support provided by families and friends and the students determination and passion to succeed," said Mark Barber, Cambridge Senior Schools Development Manager, Sub-Sahara Africa.
