Although for public safety bathing may be prohibited on some of Durban's beaches - singing, dance, comedy, street theatre, hip-hop, puppetry and aerial acts will certainly be featured on the beachfront this weekend with the annual Fresha Festival of free fun family al-fresco theatre which will be staged for the third time on Durban's North Beach for three days on 18, 19, 20 January.
The Fresha team has selected a programme of vibrant, engaging works that are non-verbal and last just 15-20 minutes. All the shows are in the daylight, in the open-air and free to all. For more info, visit .. Find Fresha Festival on facebook and @freshafest on twitter.
