Your Perfect Wedding
Your Perfect Wedding
This is a truly meaningful instance, which is cherished for a lifetime by the couple and an honour for those who attended.
Your choice of ceremony type is very much a reflection of your life in general, upbringing, culture and family wishes. Choose accordingly.
Ceremonies and religion
Traditionally, weddings and religion went hand in hand, following the natural aura of spiritualism and dedication in conjunction with the all-important sacred blessing. This is a highly sanctified ceremony, expressing your love in the name of God.
Non-religious ceremonies
Civil/registry weddings practiced and suited to those of a less spiritual nature or sometimes simply for the economy factor. However, the same principles of love, trust and commitment remain, only expressed in a different way. These ceremonies do sometimes include a slightly religious feel even though not in ritual.
Your ceremony affords you to be creative and add additional, optional elements to enhance meaning and feelings for the occasion.
Vocalist: Add an ethereal quality to your wedding in addition to providing an entertainment factor. A useful filler for break areas e.g. When the couple sign the book.
Personal Vows: A special expression of your feelings for one another, shared with your guests. This is an opportunity to be really creative and personalise your wedding. Please check with your officiator first, if you need help, if he will allow it in the first place and of course for suitability.
TIPS: Do not include any intimacy or personal details in your custom vows. Keep it short and sweet, you do not want to bore your guests or overdo it. Practice beforehand to gain familiarity.
Symbolic Candle: An expression of unity and bonding, similar to eating the cake, to light a candle together.
Poetry: Self-written poetry or verses, which you are touched by can be slipped in at various points during your ceremony or reading.
