Its here! The i20

Hyundai's new i20 hatchback has been revised and refreshed both inside and out, and is intended to appeal to a new, younger group of car buyers.
The new Hyundai i20 was introduced to South Africa in three derivatives: The i20 Fluid with a new six-speed manual gearbox; an i20 Glide, also with the new six-speed manual gearbox; and the i20 Fluid automatic with a four-speed automatic transmission. All three derivatives are equipped with Hyundai's 73 kW 1,4-litre petrol engine.
This new model progresses the development of Hyundai's passenger vehicle range, which continues to benefit from recent advances in engine power and design.
The new design includes the new hexagonal grille design component common to all new Hyundai models. A sculpted body shape with bold lines creates the fantasy of continual motion, while the halogen headlamps, with a complete new design, give a sense of luxury and technological sophistication.
But is not only the fresh design that makes the new i20 so attractive, it's the combination of efficiency, quality, practicality and value for money. The i20's sporty design makes it a perfect attention grabber, one of the main reasons the new i20 is so popular with the younger consumers.
Much of the car's ride and handling development work was undertaken on European roads, therefore the South African consumers can enjoy an almost soundless comfortable ride with quick and accurate responses that certainly add to the safety of the new i20.
