The Mazda range of vehicles has quietly been getting ahead of the game with some very fresh designs, which take the brand into the next level of motor car manufacturing.
Driving the Mazda 2 started with a long stare, more like an ogling of the new shape that Mazda has produced in the new Mazda 2. The accent lines on the doors and the confident expression of the front bonnet and face are echoed in the sturdy and capable looks of the rear.
Depending on which derivative you choose, and there are seven to choose from, you can expect to be treated to amazing features like a heads-up-display that offered me information without me having to take my eyes off the road. Land Departure Warning Sytems would beep at me if I started changing lanes without indicators, great for those of us who text and drive, something you should never do. Rear parking distance control and Blind Spot Monitoring are luxury saloon elements that you will find in the new Mazda 2and it was really impressive when I did.
The Bluetooth and hands free radio integration worked without a hitch, and was really easy to connect first time. The Mazda 2 felt like a huge luxury saloon fit into the small frame.
Performance wasn't a problem, but I would encourage you to take the Mazda 2 for a test drive so you can experience the car for yourself.
