"Arriving at our destination after having travelled over 6500km by Land Rover to one of the world's most remote places.

We are here to attend The Lake Turkana cultural Festival, where the 10 ethnic groups of the Lake Turkana region; El Molo, Rendille, Samburu, Turkana, Dassanach, Ghabra, Borana, Konso, Wata and Burji, will use song and dance to demonstrate their unique differences and traditions. In this remote and forgotten region; we will be also made aware of the challenges faced by these minority tribes and the importance of using song and dance to promote peace amongst the warring factions that have been killing each other over land and cattle."

Sometimes it's the journey that teaches you a lot about your destination, and with the intrepid adventurous spirit of Kingsley Holgate, his son Ross Holgate and their crew, arriving on the shores of the Jade Sea will mean a life changing and even a lifesaving event for many of the people they met along the way. For the adventurers arriving at their destination is just the beginning of their next adventure. We hope to inspire you to get down to Land Rover Ballito and kit out the Land Rover of your choice.
