New Tea-son, new Venue for 'Tea With Claire'

New Tea-son, new Venue for 'Tea With Claire'

Date: 2013-09-20
It's with great excitement that Durban-based psychologist, speaker, trainer and coach - Claire Newton, announces her new tea-son of 'Tea with Claire' at its new home 'Market' - 40 Gladys Mazibuko Road (formerly Marriott Road).

Entitled the 'Lady Grey' Tea-son, this is a series of three talks (one per month) with the first talk - 'Mastering the art of Conversation' taking place on Thursday 19 September, 9:30am for 10am - 12pm (noon).

Other talks in the tea-son include:
Thursday 17 October - 'Future Proof You' - an ideal event for Bosses' Day which takes place that week; and
Thursday 21 November for the ever-popular 'Body Language for Confidence' which should be considered as a festive treat for your Book Club or wo(men)'s group.

'Mastering the art of Conversation' will enlighten you on the manner in which you can converse well and easily with others thereby giving people more confidence when handling both business and social events. Mastering this skill - either one-on-one or conversations in small groups - is an important life skill.

"I cover the fundamentals of what it really means to be a good conversationalist; how to make effective introductions in order to ease the way for others; and (for emergencies) how to escape from the boring individual who insists on dominating your attention, " says Claire Newton, who also touches on non-verbal (body) language.

The talk will be followed by a delectable high tea presented with flair by Market's experienced waitrons.

This is an opportunity to come as you are or dress up to the nines (even wear a hat as Claire loves hats) and enter a world far removed from the humdrum of everyday life where elegance and refinement is the name of the game. This invigorating morning's entertainment is not to be missed. Booking is essential!

Reserve your seat by sending an email to bookings@clairenewton.co.za or phone Ailsa on 083250 2690. To find out more about Claire's talks and courses visit https://www.clairenewton.co.za
