Panthers in Club Maharaj memorial 27km walk

This past Sunday the 27th of August 30 Panthers Members took part in the club 27km walk.The Panthers started the walk with lots of enthusiasm from Victoria Primary school long Watsonia and to the King Shaka International Airport to the R102 to the Canelands bridge and back. The lovely friendly supporters and helpers at the refreshment tables added to the positive spirit that prevailed amongst all walkers that morning. Panthers star and comrades Silver medalists Temba Qhaniso maneuvered his way through with his power walking and finished in 2.38.Panthers Glamorous Gran Pushpa Pillay was the first lady walker home in 3:55. The Executive places on record their thanks and Appreciation to all helpers on the road and their congratulations to all finishers.

Members are reminded that the next leg of the Thinnys League Challenge takes place on Sunday 3 September at 6am.
