Ford Everest Ready for Adventure

Ford Everest Ready for Adventure

Date: 2013-10-11
The Everest is designed to be the ultimate recreational vehicle with the comfort and safety features required of a family car and the off-road competencies of a Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV).

"Combining rugged off-road ability and the luxury of a seven-seat configuration, the Everest is not only the perfect family vehicle but is ideally suited to South Africa's environment and our general sense of adventure," says Ford Marketing Manager Gavin Golightly.

The seven-seater SUV boasts bold styling with wheel arch flares that give the Everest a muscular stance, while its ready-for-adventure character is further defined by the full size spare wheel mounted on the tailgate and high-mounted taillight clusters that increase visibility and lend a more premium status to the SUV.

The Ford Everest is unique in its segment in that it features a side-hinged rear door. It allows the full-size spare wheel to be mounted on it and also makes it easier to operate for smaller people. It opens up the tallest and widest cargo area in the class when the third row of seats is folded.

The 3.0-litre engine employs advanced injection technology - intercooler and variable-geometry turbocharging - to reduce turbo lag and improve overall performance. Plenty of available torque makes it highly responsive to the driver's needs and gives the Everest plenty of grunt. The 115kW 3.0-litre delivers 380Nm peak torque at 1800rpm. At 3000rpm, the Everest's 3.0-litre TDCi diesel proves its flexibility in delivering more than 350Nm.

Contact Ballito Auto for the most incredible deal on a Ford Everest, visit their showroom at 6 Moffat Drive, Ballito or call them on 032 946 5600. Do it today and secure this ideal SUV for yourself today.
