KZN Youth Orchestra live at Crawford College North coast
On March the 15th at 6pm, The KZN Youth Orchestra will present their first public concert for the year at Crawford College North Coast. The orchestra consists of young talented musicians from all around KZN province aged between 11 and 18.
The concert entitled "Contrasts" will consist of popular classical music and some contemporary rock and movie tunes. The programme will include such pieces as Bach's 'Sheep may safely graze', Brahms 'Hungarian dance no 5', 'Nella Fantasia', 'Mamma Mia', 'The conquest of Paradise", "O Fortuna", 'The Final Countdown' and 'Havana'.
It will take place at the College Hall at Crawford College North Coast, which is situated on Watson Highway, Tongaat. Tickets are R70 for adults and R50 for pensioners and students. They may be purchased at the door from 5pm on the day. Patrons are encouraged to bring picnics and beverages.
