Starting Young

Starting Young

When it comes to learning to ride, the earlier you start the better it is. Well that is my opinion in any event. I am always impressed by the sight of a tot on a bike, especially when they show the natural ability of youth for balance and co-ordination.

Quad biking for the young is definitely one of the major attractions of their lives. I can remember when my boys were younger; no other activity got them more excited than the prospect of riding a four-wheeler or quad bike.

My youngest, Dominic, managed to roll every quad bike he rode. Even when cautioned, that he had this tendency, he still managed to get so excited that he would topple the quad bike over in a hysterical peal of laughter.

The boys would immediately become animated and excited by the thought of riding a quad bike and it was always a special treat. I remember the envy they displayed when a their cousin got his first quad bike and I was always able to use Quad bike rides as an incentive to good behaviour.

I know I would have been a better parent had I got them their own quad bike, if only in their eyes, I would have been happy with that.

East Coast Motorcycles has an array of quad bikes or four wheelers, which would suit children from the youngest imaginable age, to grumpy old adults like myself. If you can afford them this luxury, then take this chance to do it and get down to east Coast Motorcycles at 10 Meridian Drive, Umhlanga Ridge, and make them smile. Why not get one for yourself while you're there.
