Hospice Tree of Light

Hospice Tree of Light

Date: 2015-11-27
As the year draws to an end, our thoughts turn to our loved ones who have passed on, or to those who are very ill and unlikely to see another year through. Your support is important to us, as it enables us to continue the Free Palliative nursing care for the people who are suffering from life threatening illnesses in the huge community that we serve.

People are encouraged to support Hospice by purchasing a light or two, which could be in memory of a mother, father, child, family member, a friend, colleague, a beloved pet or just to give Thanks for the joy of being alive.

People are also offered the opportunity to write a message to the loved one and hang it on the Tree for all the read and see. On the left is Ralph and Bernie Retief admiring the tree and reading some of the messages with Hospice CEO, Neil McDonald.

Lights will also be on sale at our Hospice Shops and for those who are unable to get there, electronic payments can be made to Khanya Hospice,Standard bank account 058 287 4060 Branch code: 057 627 and in the reference column please write: Tree of Light - your name - contact number.

Hospice can also be contacted on Hospice@scottnet.co.za or 083 597 8985.
