ACDP President in Ballito The African Christian Democratic Party (ACDP) is once again growing in support and making up for the losses it suffered during the 2009 presidential polls. The party is now making a determined push for seats in the provincial legislature and parliament. To this end ACDP president, Reverend Kenneth Meshoe will be visiting Ballito on Friday the 25th of April 2014. He will speaking at a public meeting held at Lighthouse Family Church at 19h00. All are welcome.
The ACDP was founded in 1993. Its members consists mainly of conservative Christians and its policies focus on social issues such as abortion, homosexuality and pornography. The party currently has three seats in parliament but is convinced that its seats will increase after Election 2014. Local ACDP councillor, Reverend Nel Sewraj says: "The ACDP has stood the test of time. Unlike other political parties our message remains the same: South Africa needs godly government, and now more than ever.
A strong opposition is not the solution, godly government is." The ACDP has biblically-based policies for reconciliation, justice, compassion, tolerance, peace and the sanctity of life, the individual, the family and the community. All members of the public, churches and Christian leaders are welcome to meet Reverend Kenneth Meshoe at the Lighthouse Family Church situated at 5 Moffat Drive, Ballito Business Park at 7pm.
