Save the date for the Fair with Flair

Date: 2017-10-11

The much anticipated annual Christmas country fair will take place on 1 and 2 November from 9 to 5, at Collisheen Estate, inland from Ballito.

This year marks the 65th birthday of the fundraising organisation, the Christmas Fair Fund, presenter of the country fair. The initiative was started in 1952 by concerned volunteers who wanted to help alleviate poverty and address the lack of facilities in the local disadvantaged communities. Over the years the money raised has been utilised for education, health, feeding schemes and supporting various deserving individuals.

The Christmas fair remains the biggest fundraising event of the year for the Christmas Fair Fund, attracting visitors and vendors from far and wide. This year's fair promises over 90 stalls, offering unusual and interesting merchandise for the discerning shopper.

The Christmas Fair Fund ladies will have their own stall where home made products like fresh produce, jams, pesto's, Christmas cakes, puddings and mince pies will be for sale. To avoid disappointment, please order your Christmas puddings in advance from Maryderne Boyce on 082801 1942.

Tickets at R60 per person are available on Quicket or at the gate. This includes tea or coffee and a treat.
