Extreme Fulfilment Is XF

Extreme Fulfilment Is XF

Jaguar's XF 2.2 diesel derivative of this highly innovative model seems to just keep coming back with renewed vigour every time I delve into the details of this masterpiece. Besides being the most economical 2.2 litre in its class, the Jaguar XF is surely the most ergonomically endowed model in its class as well. From the moment I slid into the soft grain leather and felt the smoothness of its surface I knew a romance had begun.

Don't get me wrong, I am not one to throw my heart out at the next fancy to come along, I pride myself on being rather discerning. However the XF was captivating from the moment the weighty key was pressed into my palm.

It was dark when Malcolm Kinsey delivered the test car to my home and it was love at first sight. The interior lighting was like something out of a London High Street luxury department store, I was enthralled. Beyond the Gloss Burr Walnut veneer and brushed aluminium trim lay a world of exhilarating performance.

A hundred and forty kilowatts of turbocharged diesel power with 450 Newton metres of torque and an eight speed automatic gearbox was mine to play with to my hearts content, and its content is what was achieved. Boasting and achieving figures of six litres per hundred kilometres and less, the XF 2.2 diesel has carved a name for itself that has its competition scratching for answers.

In an urban cycle the figure gets as low as 4.9 litres per hundred k's. The interior is equipped with a front and rear parking aid while the Meridian 380W sound system, with USB and iPod connectivity, had me thinking I was at the concert. The technological complexity of this car is far too extensive for me to cover in this feature, but something that will amaze you when you set out on your journey of discovery.

If you are looking for a car that will thrill you as well as fulfil you, then get down to CMH jaguar Umhlanga at 6 Sunset Close and feel what I am talking about.

Whether it is a luxury saloon like the XF, the stately XJ or an adrenalin-generating monster like the new F-Type, CMH Umhlanga will be able to satisfy your desire.

Call them on 031 571 2620 or visit their showroom at 6 Sunset Close, Umhlanga Ridge and fall in love.
