America's latest attempts at starting a war are seemingly going swimmingly, or so it seemed until a little sanity surfaced in Europe. The Western media stance on the tensions with Russia and Ukraine have nothing to do with Russia and Ukraine, but everything to do with NATO's continuous deceitfulness and expansion into Eastern Europe. It is nauseating to watch newscasters blurt out the rhetoric storyline that demonises Russia and Vladimir Putin without a word about NATO's transgressions.
But they need to make money and war is big business. That airhead Biden murmurs his threats and warnings, probably oblivious to the reality, he looks as though he believes the narrative that is being pushed by pathetic Western leaders.
Eric Zemmour is one of France's latest Presidential candidates, he seems to be awake, he spoke of how America is working hard to divide and destabilize Europe, not without a whole lot of success I might add, he said "The US is trying to divide Russia from France and Germany, and every time they get closer to each other, the Americans find a way to divide them", while Germany shows some sanity in denying Kiev delivery of lethal weapons. Britain and America not so cleaver, they're sending in arms and ammunition by the plane load.
Another sensible European is Joseph Borrell who poured oil on the troubled waters, calming the panic that is being stirred up by the likes of Anthony Blinken and the war mongers of the West. All the while sleepy Joe goes on insulting journalists calling one a "stupid son of a bitch". Amazing that he managed to finish that sentence without forgetting what he was trying to say.
So the innocent sons and daughters of America's lower middle and lower class will probably not end up being fed into the money making war machine as some would have it.
On the sports scene, you have to marvel at Australia's treatment of the tennis star Novax Djokovic an soon we can marvel at how much his sponsors will sue Australia for. And the Auzzie control freaks continue to shine with an attempt to clamp down on people wearing T-shirts asking "Where is Peng Shuai?" Those guys down there must be so bored. After a few players joined the fray, the Australian tennis organisers relented. What is going on down under?
Here at home our minister of tourism has shown her utter contempt for our constitution, our questionable judiciary and our president. She could be our next president, why not?
The Zondo commission is out with its findings and now we need to hear the click click of handcuffs and resounding bang of cell doors clanging shut. Orange overalls for all those who stole the dreams and hopes of our poor people.
With England relaxing its draconian Covid restrictions and Bojo the clown being caught with his pants down and cake in one hand and beer in the other, it seems that the world is slowly rising out of the death grip of megalomaniac politicians while slowly, very slowly, beginning to follow the science, something our leaders don't seem to have been very good at of late.
