KZN education Giant, PC Training & Business College, has gone back to its roots and expanded their field of expertise by launching Richfield Graduate Institute of Technology.

After twenty-six years trading as PC Training & Business College, the institution has renamed itself, aligning with major universities around the world.

Having conquered all major cities in South Africa, Richfield has now launched their 'Blue Oceans' Campuses in Ballito and Umhlanga and is now offering University standard education by the best educators in the country.

Dr Willem Beste who is also Dean: Faculty of Commerce will now be heading the Umhlanga campus while Craig Gokhale who is Dean: Faculty of Computer Applications will be in charge of the Ballito campus.

Jay Ramnundlall is the Vice Chancellor and Chief Executive Officer of Richfield Graduate of Technology and also serves as Group Chief Executive Officer for the RICHFIELD HOLDINGS (Pty) Ltd. Speaking to The Bugle he stated, "The future of education in South Africa is a hot topic at the moment, it's all about 'just-in-time knowledge'. Increasingly specialised careers and skills, and accelerating technological change."

"In the age of instant gratification more organisations need people that can deliver the right skills, at the right time, for the right purpose. Knowledge development and deployment must accelerate to keep up with the trend. Richfield Graduate Institute of Technology is ahead of these trends affording our pupils additional skills training."

Jay was quick to point out that Private Higher Education in South Africa may not call itself " University", even though they have delegated degree award status from the Council of Higher Education.

Whether facing pressure from students to provide the best education, or from a "keep up with the Joneses" mentality, higher education institutions struggle to keep up with the latest edtech demands, however Richfield Graduate Institute of Technology has equipped itself with the latest curriculum to be the leaders of higher education development.

As more tech-savvy students come to class, and tech-savvy companies recruit on campus, the education world must find cost-effective ways to enhance its high tech education offerings. Richfield Graduate Institute of Technology is at the frontline of education evolution and expertise in the ever changing higher education climate.
