Marine Ecology Course - Calling all ocean enthusiasts
Calling all ocean enthusiasts - whether you are a surfer, paddler, beachcomber, fisherman, diver or enjoy just sitting and reflecting on the ocean and its creatures, the uShaka Sea World Marine Ecology Course, which is starting next month, could be perfect for you. You will learn how to distinguish one fish from another and how to identify common and reef fish families. You will also learn the classification and characteristics of invertebrate. The oceanography module covers currents, underwater geology and beach dynamics whilst the biodiversity module will uncover South Africa's marine biodiversity threats.
Where : uShaka Sea World Education Centre
When : Every Thursday evening from 4th to 25th July starting between 18h00 and 20h30 and on Saturday morning 27th July between 08h00 and 11h30.
