Thermo Scan the art of thermal imaging
Thermography is a non-invasive, non-contact method that measures heat emissions from the body to aid in making a diagnosis of a host of health care conditions as most illnesses or diseases will present themselves with some form of inflammation. We are all born with a heat image likened to a thumb print, which should be symmetrical and should not change.
Utilising a high speed thermal imaging camera, the heat from the body is processed and recorded into an image map via specialised software, which measures the temperature variation of the asymmetrical heat image to an accuracy of 0.1 deg C. This is then analysed by a certified thermographic physician who will create a report which can then be used by your medical practitioner for further evaluation.
Thermographic uses:
Earliest breast cancer screening, arthritis, muscle & joint pain, dental, TMJ, dermatology, diabetes, sports injuries, accidents, unexplained pain, inflammatory disease, referred pain, carpel tunnel syndrome, nerve damage, vascular & circulatory problems, thyroid, carotid artery & veterinarian use.
It is important to note that there has been a 30% increase in breast cancer in women under 40, who have not undergone any form of screening yet. Thermography is recommended for all women from the age of 20. We like to refer to our breast screening as a No X-Ray "Mammogram".
