Woman of Stature Awards Launches in Style at Fire & Ice Hotel

Author: Tomas Yoko
Date: 2025-11-07

The Media Launch of the Woman of Stature Awards took place this past Friday at the vibrant Fire & Ice Hotel in Gateway, setting the tone for one of South Africa's most inspiring celebrations of female leadership and excellence. The event introduced the KwaZulu-Natal nominees for the 2026 awards, showcasing an impressive line-up of business leaders, community advocates, and innovators who continue to uplift and empower through their work.

Among the outstanding nominees is Carol Reynolds, the highly regarded real estate stalwart from Pam Golding Properties Umhlanga, known for her professionalism, mentorship, and unwavering commitment to excellence. Her nomination reflects the high calibre of women representing KZN in this year's programme.

Much of the awards' success can be attributed to the tireless dedication and commitment of founder and CEO, Charlotte du Plessis, whose vision continues to drive the Women of Stature movement forward. Through her leadership, the platform has grown into a national beacon of recognition and empowerment, shining a light on women who lead with purpose and integrity.

The evening at Gateway offered a preview of the passion and promise embodied by this year's nominees, setting the stage for the crowning ceremony to be held in Johannesburg in April 2026. Judging by the energy and inspiration on display, the event will be a fitting celebration of women shaping South Africa's social and economic landscape with courage, compassion, and conviction.
