Renault Sandero and Sandero Stepway

Renault Sandero and Sandero Stepway

Date: 2018-05-18

The Renault Sandero always represented excellent value for money for a car that was well suited to South African needs and conditions.

From the very beginning the South African motorists took to the value added offering that the Renault Sandero represented andit soon became obvious that this car offered what the motoring public wanted.

Then Renault brought out the next best thing in the form of the Sandero Stepway, which quickly asserted itself through its bold desiign elements like the front and rear skid plates, roof rails, 16" wheels and plenty of ground clearance.

The Sandero popularity soared, the new Stepway was kitted out with the Formula 1 technologically advanced sixty six kilowatt turbo charged petrol engine. This is the same engine that Renault puts into the Clio, and it is frugal, consuming a mere 5.4 litres per 100 kilometres.

So enthused were they by their success that Renault went the extra mile with the Sandero and they added a whole basket full of hi-tech fetures, including multi-function fingertip radio controls, Bluetooth connectivity,an ECO mode with cruise control and a speed limiter. The rear parking sensors are the icing on the cake for me.

Being a Renault you just know that the safety levels are top notch, and the Sandero Stepway has a long list that includes ABS, Emergency Brake Assist (EBA), Electronic Stability Programme (ESP), Hill Start Assist (HSA) and front plus side airbags.

Make one yours, call Renault Ballito on 032 - 946 5820, or visit them at their showroom, upstairs at 8 Moffat Drive, Ballito.
