Whats The Issue?

Whats The Issue?

More people have died in the name of religion than have ever died of cancer, and we obsess ourselves over trying to cure cancer. We might even get it right one of these days, however there does not seem to be any effort being made to put an end to religious wars. What's up with that?

Eight civilians and three children died today from the air strikes that Obommer and his allies let hail down on the worst barbarians this world has seen in hundreds of years. The decapitation and totally barbaric murders of indiscriminate people who stood in the path of the Islamic State soldiers shocked the military world into action. Is this the third world war? Some say it is, I just hope it all comes to a grinding halt soon.

Speaking of wars and the ending of wars, I was totally perplexed when I watched the Ukraine President, Petro Poroshenko addressed the United States Congress. Like sheep they applauded one point after another as if there were crowd controllers with signs saying "applause", which they held up whenever it was required that they applaud. Similarly with their united movement in offering standing ovations for one point or another in his somewhat insipid speech that lauded democracy as if it were a god.

My respect for the congress dwindled into non-existence right there and then. It is amazing how the fact that America backed a coup d'état in the Ukraine is what started the problem in the first place. The IMF dangled a $1,5 billion loan on the condition that the Ukraine cuts its pension fund spending. When the then President Yanuyovch declined the EU's offer and opted to join the Russian Common Union. The rest is history as they say, want to know more read it all at http://www.counterpunch.org/2014/03/05/chronology-of-the-ukrainian-coup/

What had me giggling was the apparent turnaround from Petro when in America he said that blankets don't win wars and when he noticed the 100 000 Russian troops, 1 500 tanks, 120 aircraft and and and going about their training exercise, he changed his tune and said that war was not a solution to this problem.

What the EU and the USA and NATO need to get through their thick skulls is that Crimea belongs to Russia and they will not let anyone come and take it away so that they can install a military base with a missile station on it.

It was nice to see that the South African Government struck a fifty billion Dollar nuclear deal with Russia aimed at increasing our ability to generate electricity. Just please don't anybody tell Obommer about it, he might just lose his sense of humour and send in the drones.

Until then let's celebrate our rich and diverse heritage every way we can. So that means "Kom ons braai nou!"
