What's the issue?

What's the issue?

Obommer and his cowboys seem to have forgotten to block the back door and can only look on with wide eyes as Putin arrives in China with all that gas production ability in his pocket. The EU, NATO, the US and the big bullies referred to collectively as "The West" must be holding their breath while they watch Jinping and Putin meet at the highest level of diplomatic co-operation that ever existed between these two superpowers.

Europe stand a lot to lose from the sanctions that seem to have forced Putin's hand into a gas deal that could net Russia some thirteen billion dollars a year. Only they will probably boycott using dollars for the exchange and insist that the transaction be done in Rubbles or Yuan, cutting out the Americans altogether.

Is this the beginning of a new word order, brought about by The West's childlike behaviour over a poorly organised attempt at taking over control of a region on the border of Russia. Or am I just totally misguided by my interpretation of the events unfolding up there on the top half of the globe.

If the US and the EU have showed Putin the way to China, and the move cements the relationship of the BRICKS community, it could be that we are in for a whole new way of doing business on the planet. We just need someone savvy enough at the helm of our great nation to make the most of this for our people and not to allow us to be used as a commodity supplier like The West has been doing to this continent since the beginning of history.

Okay, now I am really starting to sound totally misguided. What am I thinking? Here we have the most dishonest, immoral , unethical, fraudulent, shady, duplicitous, deceitful way of doing business anywhere in the world. And I did not even use the word corrupt.

Okay I am getting carried away again, which brings me to the issue of the schoolgirls who were carried away by terrorist group Boko Haram. I was surprised to hear that old Goodluck Jonathan values a few Boko haram prisoners over the 200 plus schoolgirls. When he refused to swap them for the girls I felt a pang of regret. Probably something old Goodluck never felt in his life, at least not for another human being, maybe for himself though. The fact that he is partly responsible for their abduction also probably never occurs to him, not even as he tries to fall asleep at night.

It seems that this is now the most successful terrorist kidnapping in the history of the world, the international attention this issue has achieved is surely more than even Boko and the boys imagined their little plan would create.

I just hope that the international community intervenes before the gung ho soldier boys find the girls and try some military intervention that cuts short their lives and prevents the girls from ever finding out whether or not Islam is the way for them.
