As the stock value of America's top 500 listed companies hits the twenty trillion Dollar mark for the first time in history, yes, that's 20 000 000 000.00 Dollars, there is no sign of all that money down here on the ground.
Greece was pushed into so much debt it would make the eyes of a Nile crocodile tear up in an instant, and so they are reportedly looking to hire the Rothschild investment bank as their debt advisor. With promises of not another Euro in austerity, the bank's job will be to steer Greece back to the European Central Bank's eighty billion Euro a month Bond Buying Program.
You see it seems that the problems of these countries are more financial in nature, unlike our countries troubles. Take Iran for example, they recently discovered huge oil and gas deposits in their country, enough for the next 21 years or so, but will this be a blessing or a curse, with America's attention not always being so welcomed there.
Our problems are very different, the State Of The nation Address by our enigmatic president was a sign of the times, an indication of the direction we are headed as a nation. We did not even need to hear the speech that our great President made, where he did not say how we were going to avoid junk status in 2017, or how we were going to access the BRICKS funding to make plans to alleviate the suffering from water shortages and build dams and infrastructure that will deal with the demand for fresh water.
I did not hear his speech, all I heard was screaming and shouting and fists flying and bricks being pulled out of their sockets and flung at police. When are that frustrated then somebody has to listen to your complaints, eish, surely.
Never mind, the bricks we can put back, the gaping wounds can be stitched up after the blood has stopped flowing, but how do we get the investors to bring back the money we all need to survive Did number one mention this in the SONA address I can't say, I didn't listen.
So whether it was three million homes or four million homes that were built, I am not the person to ask. All I can tell is that there is something wrong and I can tell that without even hearing the speech. Amazing talent I have, would you not say.
So to sum it up, our constitution is now a complete sham, our judicial system is subjected to cronyism that makes it as flexible as putty in a craftsman's hand, over two hundred thousand Rand is the estimated bill for the military presence at our parliament, and no word of impeachment will be tolerated.
With real problems like plastic in our oceans and drinking water being so scarce, Monsanto poisoning almost all our crops and our banking and financial systems seeming to be kidnapped by corrupt political forces, maybe we should be going back to the drawing board with our list of priorities.
