What's The Issue?

What's The Issue?

Author: Tomas Yoko
Date: 2015-07-24
The genius Stephen Hawkin and his Russian billionaire buddy launched a search for intelligent life in the universe, obviously because they have given up hope of ever finding any here on earth. The callous images of him as a LEGO figure proved just how banal we can be as a species. Yuck!

So many people are about to get a new president, or some may hope for that, I know I do. In Burundi Nkurunziza is going for his third term in office, totally disregarding the constitution. He speaks of Life Presidency like it is normal. Maybe on this continent it is, and we go on pretending it is not going to happen to us? . The Americans are looking to find a new President and Mr Caif, AKA Donald Trump is trumping even himself in the mouth with some dastardly comments. Like that ever had any effect on an American election.

So relieved that the Greek nation is now firmly ensconced back in their role as slaves to the European war machine, all that money spent on military might and the poor must scratch around for scraps.

The launch of the BRICS bank in Shanghai is such an encouraging event, despite all efforts to prevent this from happening, and only the naive think these efforts will stop there. The 25% crash in the Chinese economy almost slipped past us without even a mention. If that happened to Wall Street we would all be in tears.

While some British pilots quietly slip a few bombs on Syrian ISIS targets, hoping they wont notice back home. Meanwhile the military drills being carried out by NATO on RUSSIA's borders, the Lithuanian War Games, are making people very jumpy. Still I can't understand what Poland is doing meddling in this crisis.

As the Nkandla debacle drags on Police Minister Nathi Nhleko is drawn into the fray, speaking ahead of his visit to the site he agreed that he did not have to find in favour of JZ. Of course he doesn't.

Well our National Prosecuting Authority slips a little further into the mud with the former boss of the institution facing rather prying questions about the seventeen point three million Rand golden handshake, which Jacob Zuma gave him. I wouldn't want to be the one having to answer those questions. No thanks.

Now Nkosinathi Nhleko wants to re-evaluate the security situation at Nkandla because of all this scrutiny. South Africa, prepare for another bill coming your way soon.

As we get ready for stage two load shedding to be implemented and our water slowly runs dry we can hope for the slightest tip of relief in a possible petrol price drop, not by much, and only in August.

Till then I suggest you stop holding your breath just long enough to exhale and take a new fresh lung full of air and hold on tight for a little while longer. Maybe, just maybe Mmusi Maimane will come to our rescue. LOL
