What's the issue?

What's the issue?

The Circus that is our modern day lives, our "interesting times", goes on with awe inspiring amaze balls everywhere.

Look at the American Primaries, the shenanigans, the show-boating, and the shock horror of Hilary Clinton wrangling her way into the White House has sent a shiver down the spine of the electoral process.

No surprises as Gary Byrne, an ex Secret Service Agent, who penned the book "Crisis of Character", is enjoying the limelight from his revelations and accusations about The Clinton White House being a den of coke users and mistresses. Shocking stuff but in my opinion there is no worse candidate for the American President that Hilarious Hillary.

Back home the SONA adress by our president showed just how captured his position really is, in the nest of ministers and dignitaries. He once again had the chance to choose the people of South Africa, and once again he chose his party.

Speaking of ministers and dignitaries, check what happens if you're a twat in England, Andrew Sabinsky fell on his sword after the wolves bayed loud enough for his sacking. He relented and did the honourable thing and resigned. Not in our parliament.

Our parliament is a laugh a minute, a soap box in the park, reduced to ridicule, an affront to our nations dignity. Treason and corruption abounds in the face of ridicule and shame. Dignity banished to the forest of criminal injustice and the play for power more convoluted than whole series of Isidingo.

While some are seeking to empower impoverished communities, others are gaining their megalomaniac goals in what looks more like a Shakespeare classic than our reality.

30 years ago the father of our Nation, Nelson Mandela, was released from prison and he united this country. I don't think he is proud of us at this juncture.

While all this is happening a man who told the truth about military murder of innocent civilians, is being detained and reportedly tortured to death, while the perpetrators of the murder are not even questioned. Our freedom of speech is not so free people. I should actually shut up.

Out there someone is trying to cure cancer, scientists are figuring out how to make electricity out of cancer. People are having babies and planning families. And Turkey is trying to invade or overthrow Libya. What is going on It's like the parents went out and left the kids with no supervision. World leaders are behaving like juvenile delinquents. We can save the planet, we can save the world's economy, there's enough for every child to eat.

Then there's the Corona virus, there are so many much more important things to be doing than bombing each other, like we're doing in Yemen. Bombs on the one hand and some Human Aid on the other, to relieve our guilt, or at least make it look like we did.
