Our darling girl is now the Universe's darling girl, as the drop dead gorgeous Zozibini Tunzi walks away with the Miss Universe title, making us all so proud. We're on the map again and again, with Phumelela Mapukata winning the Mr Deaf World 2019 title as well, and the Blitzbokke drilled their rivals New Zealand fifteen nil. We're a great nation, you wouldn't say so looking at our politics.
New Zealand went off with a blasting as the volcano on White Island erupted, unfortunately killing a number of tourists, and I know a few people who have erupted nearly as badly over the current load shedding that we are experiencing as a nation. You have to be able to decipher hieroglyphics to understand their schedules.
As Ramaphoria dissipates and the condition of our SOE's becomes glaringly apparent, it seems as if the wheels are all coming off, however a glance past our borders and it all seems quite normal.
I mean the squabbling world leaders at the NATO summit is just the beginning, the childish behaviour of the USA when WADA, the World Anti Doping Agency slapped Russia with a politically loaded ban on international sporting events. Russia cannot play their national anthem or wave their flag at any international sporting event, including the next two Olympic games or the Soccer World Cup, should they qualify. It's almost as if the Western leaders shifted up a gear after NATO's meeting, desperate to find an enemy that will generate the huge profits the filthy rich arms dealers so desperately need.
I winder if NATO could accept stupidity as an enemy and send in armed forces Can you imagine what would happen in the British parliament The showdown over Brexit has me baffled, those politicians, are they really England's best I can't.
The World will be watching when Aung San Suu Kyi and the genocide hearings at The Hague get underway.
Level heads seem to have prevailed at the peace talks in Paris bringing focus onto the cesspit of corruption that is the Ukraine saga. A war that has taken so much civilian life, a struggle over huge wealth, a gas pipeline, corrupt politicians, a mess going back to the second world war, where the CIA cannot be left out of the story. Ukrainegate is crashing around Donald's head with the impeachment proceedings that are making the Democrats look more and more insanely guilty of something with every move they make. Could it be they would rather Donald has another term in office, than let the truth about what's going on in Ukraine come out.
Speaking of getting the truth out, we might not be able to toyi-toyi about Eskom's obnoxious mess, but we should every one of us toyi-toyi about the despicable manner in which Julian Assange is being treated by the British, American and Equadarian Governments.
So while the world suffers under the overinflated egos of presidents who don't even have to pitch to court because they're too sick, yet can withstand international travel for the treatment of same health issues, the voters go to the poles in England and hold thumbs please.
