What is the issue

What is the issue

Oh the ravages of war, and Europe now suffers under the weight of the self-imposed immigrant turmoil, which it now hopes to control. The returning jihadi brides like Shamima are the tip of the iceberg with the east pointing its finger at Western authorities and calling cowardice.

Too cowardly to punish its ISIS recruits so they passed the envelope to the Iraqi courts, is how the rebuke puts it. I don't spare much hope for them, then there are those that see this issue from a wholly different perspective. We won't go there now though, they've taken it far enough.

India and Pakistan are behaving like a right bunch are they not. The Indian Prime Minister was called out for obvious electioneering by the cricket politician and facts are not matching stories in the terror attacks over there. What is Imraan up to Anybody know It's not cricket.

Meanwhile Narendra wasted no opportunity to jump onto the submarine plot, so Pakistan alleged. They say they prevented an Indian Submarine from entering their waters. I was very relieved to hear a highly intelligent individual being interviewed on one of those news channels that don't always spread fake news, and he was saying that a nuclear war between these two was not going to happen, he was cock sure and overflowing with confidence as he blanketed all nuclear armed nations with a sort of moratorium exclamation that none of them would ever resort to using atomic weapons as an act of war. Wow, I feel so much better after hearing him say that. So much better. Not.

Here at home our pot is bubbling over too. Wow, we all woke up a little sleepy from the twenty odd years of democracy, we must have gotten so drunk from the party and celebrations of a new South Africa because we have the most humungus hangover ever. We are now only waking up to the fact that the Public Investment Corporation is a seat of immense power, the R4.3 Billion Ayo deal rang a few bells as it exited their offices where once again due process was not followed. Since when did we start talking in Billions. That is an incredibly large number a billion. Think about it for a moment. Billion. Here is what it looks like in numbers 1 000 000 000.

Then think about how the South African Reserve Bank and Eskom are dancing around a $25 Billion loan, with shenanigans all around it, like pixie dust on Peter Pan. Shenanigans everywhere. Stories about Anoj Singh and a term sheet that was being bandied about in 2016.

Well the Zondo enquiry is getting into the meat and potatoes meal being made of the Gupta / Eskom relationship, for want of a better word. Something about a free mine for the brothers and few billion Rands to splash about and share amongst friends.

Now news of Eskom's putrid pollutants that they have been releasing into the environment, so much pollutant that attract a fine for as much as R46 Billion. There's that number again. Surely this State Owned Enterprise cannot survive all this and we should all be empowered to produce our own power.

What would it look like if all political parties worked together to make South Africa Great Again.
