What is the issue

Well they say you should never give up, and Tiger Woods just showed us all how not to give up and to continue chasing those goals and Hey Presto! Did you see that

Now I know I have a rampant sense of humour, however I felt rather vindicated or at least I cancelled the psychotherapy that I had been recommended by a third party passing by, when I heard how the United Nations General Assembly could not contain their laughter when Donald Dump started boasting about his amazing, incredible, incredibly huge, big, very big achievements since taking office. When he told the assembled leaders of the free world that he had accomplished more in two years than any other administration ever, and that the US economy is "booming like never before". LOL.

Only twenty two trillion Dollars in debt, fighting 3 wars and budgeting even more trillions in defence spending. Maybe it's not so funny.

Anyway, I am perplexed by the way American and English politicians have turned on their leaders. Like a pack of hungry wolves, I have watched poor Theresa May as she reached behind her back only to pull out another dagger, stuck there by one or another politician that was supposed to be supporting her. The Brexit disaster is slowly unravelling a parliament that is so divided and filled with carnivorous back stabbing that I will be amazed if she manages to pull off any kind of deal for England.

Donald has too had his share of treachery, with back stabbers turning up everywhere and his opposition politicians more intent on dragging him down than they seem to be on serving their nation in the rightful capacity that they were empowered to do.

Here in Cape Town, the protestors out on the street protesting against gangs, gangsterism and general violent crime going unchallenged in their communities, were set upon by police who gassed them, dropped stun grenades on their protest, arresting many who were blocking the roads. Now I remember Jacob, when he was still number 1, I wonder what number he is now, he stated openly that he and his party would make the Cape ungovernable until they stopped voting for the DA. That should have been enough to impeach him, but how would I know. As if the Cape doesn't have enough trouble to deal with, now they get this.

In some sad news the Fitch Ratings Agency came out less than enthusiastic about our new President's Stimulus Package, saying that is was unlikely to produce a major boost to our economy. They pedantically pointed out that most of his plan relies on long standing policy plans that are yet to be implemented. So more of the same

With SAA now backed firmly into a corner, all the pillaging and plundering of its funds remain unchallenged, like the SAMRO debacle, where the performing rights society for SA's artists is now bankrupt and can't pay the artists their royalties, another Dodgy Dubai investment that went wrong. Of course nobody will be held accountable and nobody will face the music. Sorry, not funny.
