Treason, possibly a word we have not yet come to understand here in good old RSA. The state capture enquiry is opening a whole dustbin full of worms, where in some countries the allegation and corroboration of treason would have already been met with arrests and legal action. I for one will not feign surprise if no one ever gets so much as a lick of a shambok for the treasonous acts that have befallen our beautiful land.
Bribes of six hundred million Rand, ministerial positions changing hands at whim, the highest police authority in the land accused of being part of the problem, a trio of businessmen captured our whole country and still we wonder.
A tiny ray of hope peeks out from the blanket of darkness with the former head of the GCIS, Themba Maseko, probably getting a chance to have his say at the Zondo commission a little earlier than originally planned.

News of the withdrawal of the land expropriation bill by the ANC may have sent a sigh of temporary relief through some parts of our country. Theresa May spoke in favour of land reform in South Africa, something we would all love to see, only in a civilised and orderly fashion where nobody is robbed or disadvantaged.

Well we can all see that Trump, or Dump as I like to call him, is on the warpath. He recently attacked Google, accusing them of skewing the playing field by "controlling what we can and cannot see." This stuff is getting really interesting.
Fun and games at the Nelson Mandela Bay municipality with shenanigans by the dozen. Democracy be damned and legal process thrown to the wind. Who needs them Accusations were flying everywhere with Eastern Cape DA leader Nqaba Bhanga saying after the twists and turns in the council meetings, "This decision by the unholy alliance of the ANC, EFF and UDM is in order to fill their own party coffers with public funds and bring looting back ahead of the 2019 elections. The ANC and the EFF have rejected the will of the people in favour of enriching themselves,"
The US Army perpertrated what must be the most absurd incidence of the pot calling the kettle black when they ccused RT of Fake News when they reported that Islamic State is operating in a US controlled area. The UN and NBC both concurred this piece of information that shoud be household knowledge by now. Just saying. And the bombs keep falling in Yemen.
