Through my eyes

Through my eyes

"What you don't realise is that 60% of the people don't care and the remaining 40% are glad it's happening" Anonymous

How many of you out there are 'paffing out' today Whinging and whining "Oh, Life is so crap at the moment"

"I'm not feeling well, I think I'll just stay in bed" or "I'm tired of my job, my boss is such a moron" or "I'm so over my relationship, he/she just don't get me" or my favourite, "I swear I'm not coping with these hot flushes, menopause, you hateful bitch!"

And of course victims are never accountable for being part of the problem. Hell no, it's everyone else's fault!

Ok, so we are all going through some melodrama, something deep and meaningful, something that is turning us into complete pafs.

I don't know about you, but I don't want to hear it, I just don't care. If someone wants to wallow in their misery, they can do it on their own, please don't get me involved.

Last week's visit to Zwelabantu, iDube centre for children with physical challenges, was life changing, I mean here we are perfectly abled individuals with everything going for us and yet we still manage to complain constantly.

Here are these beautiful innocent souls, stuck in malfunctioning bodies, and yet they are joyous and laughing and even when they can't stand on their own two feet they still are trying to move and experience and be a part of life.

Nothing is good enough these days, if it's not our thieving politicians, than it's our snoopy neighbours or our crazy family.

Let me tell you, there is nothing worse then a whiner, so come on get out of your rut, put on your big-people panties, own your issues, and enjoy life. And if like me you have had enough of people complaining, here's what to say to someone who constantly complains, I found it on the web.

1. Stop complaining. Everyone who died yesterday thinks you're one lucky son of a bitch.

2. I'm sorry I suck at empathizing with your first world problems.

3. Yes, of course, I have time to listen to you complain about all the stupid shit I can neither help you with or do anything about.

4. Spending today complaining about yesterday won't make tomorrow any better.

5. You should realize that bitching about your first world problem is a first world problem.

6. Thanks for your complaint. I will file it right between "Don't give a flying f*ck", and "sucks to be you".

7. I genuinely care about whatever you have been complaining about for the last hour.

8. I wish I could put some people on mute.

9. I think some people enjoy complaining almost as much as they enjoy doing nothing about it.

10. You're the stereotype of someone always complaining about stereotypes.

And if that doesn't work try my favourite one; "We're sorry, your request for victim status has been denied. You are being referred to the big girl panties department."

Have a fabulous week everyone, and thank you so much for all the encouraging emails, WhatsApps and calls it means a lot to me!
