What is the issue

Nakba and the teargas canisters rain through the air as the zip zip sound of live ammunition has everybody ducking instinctively from the anticipation of the sting of a bullet piecing your flesh. Protesting can be hard at times, very hard especially on the Gaza strip in Israel.

The picture of Mrs Trump serenely opening the new Embassy of the US in Jerusalem was a stark contrast to the smoke, blood and dust mixed with sweat and disappointment on the Gaza strip. For some it is an outrageous massacre of innocent lives and for others it is a desperate clinging onto a state that was brought to be through the use of power and violence.

Every US president for the last 50 years has promised to move the US embassy to Jerusalem, but none of them ever followed through on their promise until Mr Dump came along. Maybe he didn't know that it would end in a bloodbath.

In another part of the world where once again America is involved, the North Koreans have been offered a carrot, the threat of "fire and fury" is neatly tucked away in the back seat, hopefully never to have to be deployed again. If North Korea hand over all their nukes, then the US will bring aid and investment in their place.

But when it comes to Putin, things go a little differently for the Americans. Putin just drove a massive Russian Kamaz truck across the nineteen kilometre bridge that connects the Russian mainland to Crimea. The bridge opened a little early and while Putins detractors say that he annexed Crimea, his supporters will tell you that Crimea is part of Russia, and the EU's attempts at installing a puppet government were dashed so effectively that they probably won't try it again any time soon. LOL.

Here at home the DA Shadow minister of international relations, Stevens Mokgalapa has slammed the idea of recalling our ambassador from Israel, saying that this is the time to show leadership and not pull an EFF walkout just because things aren't going the way we would like them to go.

But the DA has other headaches to deal with, not the kind of stuff some Grandpa could sort out though, the powder not the geriatric individual, with the courts ruling that Patricia's membership of the DA must be reinstated and so in turn it follows that her position as the Mayor of Cape Town is also reinstated.

How did it all get so messy What are we playing at All the while the poorest of the poor suffer even more and the wicked willed gangsters take advantage. The wholesale pillaging and plundering of our countries resources drains away at an alarming rate.

The sudden resignation of the Denel CEO, Zwelakhe Ntshepe, makes me very nervous, even though he said it was due to personal reasons, I still feel as though there is someone under the bed and the bedside light wont turn on. No ways I'm getting out of bed and crossing the floor to the light switch, I'm just going to hide under the duvet unti somebody comes to my rescue.
