What is the issue

There once was a man they used to call Mr. Teflon. Any idea why? Well there is a new contender for this position and I am sure it has to be our very own Mr. Number 1. Why would I say such a thing? You might ask. Well despite everything our beloved Mr. Number 1 just carries on laughing and smiling and jikaring one way and then the next.

Even with the astounding allegations of the Gupta family offering cabinet appointments willy-nilly to whomever may agree to do their bidding once in power, despite the family using our military bases as their private airfields, despite them being awarded broadcast licenses and TV channels, despite everything, he is still smiling. Word is out that Zuma offered his resignation and presumably, it was duly declined by the National Executive Council. So as much as we think we know, we don't know anything. The ANC reportedly came out in full support of Zuma's leadership after their meeting this weekend where a small number of its members bravely picketed outside the meeting.

Now I would love to be a minister, if only I knew the exact address in Saxonwold where I could go to get myself such a position. If only it were that easy. Apparently it is just not as easy as that. Too bad for me because I would make bold sweeping changes, but I would use one of those hand made brooms for that, not one of those plastic brooms made in China or America. I would use a broom with a wooden handle and thatch bristles to make sweeping changes. And if I had promised to stick a dagger in the side of my own national carrier and cancel one of the profitable legs in its journeys offered, I would renege. I would back out of the very deal that got me the job as minister and I would laugh in the face of whomever it was that got me the MP position. Because I love this country, despite the continued murder of farmers. Oh, did you notice what I did there, I left out the race of the farmers being murdered. Maybe because it doesn't matter what race they are but what matters is that they are being murdered in the most disgusting way by a most vile mentality and without the slightest response from the rest of the world. I suppose our minerals and our collective ancestral wealth and inheritance is so much more tantalizing at the deflated price they are paying for it now. Much easier to turn a blind eye than stand up for what is right.

In any event we are still far better off than our European buddies. What a tragedy Belgium became with the terrorist attacks at their airport and underground railway line. Such senseless destruction, however it has to be said that Europe must have known that their involvement in the American and Western Government backing of "terrorists to overthrow terrorists" would bring terrorism to Europe. They must have known. Kindergarden pupils could have told them that with the "migration" of refugees would come terrorist minded individuals. I'm just sorry it had to happen and more sorry that it had to happen in Belgium. Why Belgium?
