Alfa Romeo at the 2016 Geneva International Motor Show

Alfa Romeo at the 2016 Geneva International Motor Show

Date: 2016-03-11
In the world-wide preview, visitors of the Geneva International Motor Show will get the chance to admire four versions of the new model, representing the extensive range available at launch, with three trim levels (Giulia, Super and Quadrifoglio), two packs (Lusso and Sport), 18 different interior versions as well as 13 body colours. In addition, customers can choose from two types of transmissions (new 8-speed Q-Tronic automatic or 6-speed manual) and three new engines: the 147 KW 2.0-litre TBi engine and the 110 KW or 132 KW (also in ECO version) 2.2-litre JTD, in addition to the already unveiled 375 KW 2.9-litre V6 BiTurbo Petrol engine in the Quadrifoglio version.

The new Giulia stand's out for its distinctively Italian design, which is expressed through the impeccable sense of proportions, simplicity and the superior surface quality finish. At the heart of this automotive "creation" sits the driver and his or her desire to enjoy a thrilling driving experience, thanks to sensitive steering, responsive acceleration and prompt shifting and braking.

Alfa Romeo's news does not stop with the eagerly-awaited Giulia; indeed, the brand has undergone a whole makeover. The spotlights at the show will also be trained on the New Giulietta and the New Mito, the two restyled models which present a notable family feeling with the enchanting Giulia, as can be seen in the new nose that features an unprecedented grille and the legendary trefoil nose, arguably one of the most famous and recognisable symbols in the automotive world. The lettering of the names 'Giulietta' and 'Mito' also winks to that of the 'Giulia', with both cars sporting the refreshed logo of the Alfa Romeo brand.

The limelight will also be shared by the captivating Alfa Romeo 4C, in Coup and Spider versions, a modern icon of the brand and representing the sports soul written into to the Alfa Romeo DNA: optimum performance and excellent engineering designed for ultimate pleasure to drive in breathtaking style.
