Things are heating up here, I am slowly seeing the year end approaching, feeling very blessed at all the invites and gifts. Thank you so much!
While the heat was high, I was granted some chill relief in the form of effervescent French Champagne. I was literally so happy at the recent launch of the Moet Ice Imperial, held at the Beverly Hills Hotel, it was the perfect setting for this beautiful Heaven's Nectar.
Thank you John de Canha and Lorna Gorlay for everything you do, but most of all thank you for the kind way you treat people. Thank youFrank, Tony, Mthobisi, Edwin, Paul, Marc and the whole crew.
Thank you for the casual champagne rendezvous at elements, the ladies lunches and the wine pairing dinner parties. But most of all thank you for your kindness and the beautiful memories.
I know I am not the only one feeling the vibrations. The general, cosmic, intergalactic, universal energy is so intense; I am struggling to sleep. It's as if I am living in a Star Trek revival.
It has been a week of such excitement. The show-stopping launch of the Oceans in Umhlanga was a flashback to the times of opulence and big spending. Great lunch chef Tony!
Vivian Reddy did not spare a cent on his lavish development launch. He invited Royalty, politicians, the media and top South African businessmen, we all came to see his vision and it was, WOW, really spectacular.
The design, which you see on the front page this week, is basically what the Oceans in Umhlanga will look like. While there are a few haters out there, it does not change the fact that Oceans in Umhlanga will be good for business.
From the visuals and the general marketing hype this development is uber world class have never been to Dubai, I have only seen images of it in the media and I have always wanted to go there to see their futuristic skyline. I do believe it is Vivian's dream to make Umhlanga a world-class tourist destination.
Speaking to Piaras Moriarty Alvarez, Managing Director of DevMark Global, you can be assured that the business brains and the financial backers mean serious business.
Last week's launch of the Oceans was really just a teaser as the development will only start selling in March.
Piaras and his DevMark Global property development team are real professionals, with sound international as well as local experience.
Piaras was the brains and hard work behind the phenomenal sales of quite a few Zimbali developments, the success of a 90% sell-out of the Pearls in Umhlanga in just one day and now this. I know that the Oceans is going to be a sound financial investment, I just wish I had the money to invest.
Look it's not just the people behind this project, there is something magical about this particular geographical location. Good Feng Shui, or something like that.
My good old friend Logie Naidoo and I were reminiscing on the times we had in the days when he ran his office from the exact same spot where the Oceans will be situated.
Last time we experienced a lavish party like this was at the official launch of the Point Water front development. We gate crashed Mzi Khumalo's after party. Oh yes! That was a party to remember and look at what a remarkable development Point Waterfront is today.
If you're on holiday, I hope your feet are up and you are soaking up this heavenly fresh breeze with something cooling in your hand. If you are still at work, hang in there and know you are not alone send big love to you all of you out there!
