What's The Issue?

What's The Issue?

Author: Tomas Yoko

Paris and a media storm has the French Flag flying everywhere with sympathy pouring out of every pore of the grossly uninformed. How is it that the tragedy of the inhuman and disgusting murder, neigh slaughter of the people in France gets so much attention around the globe but the human suffering of the Syrian people never had their flag floated above any facebook profile pics?

Just two days before Paris was attacked Beirut was bombed. I did not see the Western news channels repeating over and over the photos of the victims. Almost every day white farmers in South Africa are attacked, ruthlessly beaten and killed and there is no South African flag ghosting over a facebook profile pic.

Pray for Paris by all means, but slip in a little additional prayer for the poor people who have been preyed upon by mighty western countries eager to get at their resources. Pray for the whole world, as we are all victims in this disgusting display of military might and political manipulation.

Whatever you do try not to fall into the trap of mistaking the religious motivation of the terrorists as justified or unjustified. Open your eyes and see that it is all just politics. No religion would allow anything like what we see going on in the Middle East. Behind the gross behaviour of what is going on in the Middle East is political motivation. The fact that religion is being used as a disguise is what gets everybody involved and hot under the collar.

Once again, I don't trust. "Believe only half of what you see and none of what you hear." This quote by Edgar Allen Poe is something everybody needs to contemplate, especially before they go onto social networking platforms and begin espousing their own version of the truth.

It is not the refugees that attacked Paris, many of them are fleeing diabolical conditions in their home country and they were invited to Europe. I still maintain that it is a trap that was set to achieve exactly what is happening. France can now unleash billions of pounds of military spending, what a way to create your own market.

The G20 summit gets under way in Turkey, ironic, and Russian leader Vladimir Putin has pointed his finger at some of the member state for funding IS. A long line of tankers stretch beyond the horizon and some forty countries are involved in buying fuel and oil from the terrorist organization.

America first refused to join forces with Russia in defeating IS, now it seems that they will have to lose their grip on Syria and get behind a joint effort in trying to rid the world of IS. This will not be as easy as it may seem and I don't think military action will suffice. A political solution will be the only way forward. Until we realise that IS and ISIS is a religious millenarian group, and until we try to understand it, I fear we will not be able to find a solution that fits in our modern world.
